Every day when you wake up to birds chirping it is very pleasant. Many of my friends have birds as their pet. Birds were part of our everyday life. This kolam design is drawn inspired by birds. The center of the rangoli is a six petaled flower. Parrot is perching on a flower, this is repeated six times around the center flower. There are other kolams relating to this like dove kolams. Flower kolams are one of the usual kolams spot in front of South Indian household.
